As a part of the above, and on an ongoing basis will also:Establish strong team member relations, at all levels and provide support for people development, coaching, and mentoring with a focus on teamwork and inclusionWork closely with advisors from Mazda and ToyotaSystemically identify and manage new model and mass production engineering changes and coordinate them with pilot teamsLead weekly change point management meetings collaborating with all MTM production and quality groups to establish one voice and confirm implementation readinessConduct project impact analysis and use key performance indicators to identify riskUse self-driven problem solving to analyze and act on complex change point obstaclesRelay and maintain accurate process procedures, documentation, and communication for a high volume of change pointsComprehend vehicle specifications for both Mazda and ToyotaAccurately manage Mazda and Toyota bill of material and vehicle specification systems for every change pointAssist in supplier readiness planning and preparation confirmation for change point coordinationManage special projects and coordination as requiredPerforms other related duties as assigned by the departmentBe available to work outside of normal work schedule, including but not limited to weekends, holidays, shutdowns, and travel as needed (domestically and internationally)Your QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of ProductsStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, data analysis and mathematical skillsExperience coordinating, presenting, or leading decision-making meetingsWhat Will Set You ApartBachelor's Degree (or Higher) in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Business Management, Information Technology, related manufacturing bachelor's degrees, or equivalent work experienceVehicle manufacturing experience within a Body Weld, Paint, Assembly shop, or Tier I OEM suppliersDemonstrated ability to develop project strategies, project management, and problem-solving skills2+ years of relevant experienceWhat We OfferAt Mazda Toyota Manufacturing USA Inc., we offer the opportunity to end each day with a smile and a sense of pride in the work that you do.
