Key responsibilities: Completes area-specific work and adheres to established processes and policies Serves as an expert in specialized equipment and technology, troubleshooting technical issues as they arise Maintains accurate documentation and records while identifying quality improvement opportunities Required qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent; an Associate's Degree in Pharmacy Technology is required for technicians in NC Registration/Licensure with the state board of pharmacy as per state requirements Certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) or National Health Career Association (ExCPT) Typically requires 3 years of experience in healthcare, insurance, pharmacy, or a medical background Strong background in medical terminology preferred
