Job TitleNordson Medical is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team.Summary of the RoleAs a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.Key Responsibilities:Master Production Planning:Develop and maintain a rolling 12-month Master Production Plan (MPP) aligned with demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and business prioritiesIncorporate considerations such as NBS ranking, labor availability, equipment capacity, and material constraintsIdentify risks to the revenue plan and proactively recommend mitigation strategies to leadershipContinuously adjust plans based on changes in demand, supply constraints, or business prioritiesProduction Scheduling:Translate the master production plan into detailed weekly production schedulesCommunicate priorities to internal manufacturing teams and external processorsProvide regular status updates on production performance, risks, and recovery plansInventory Management:Establish and manage finished goods inventory targets, including safety stock levels by SKU/pack sizeConduct regular supply-demand balancing to ensure alignment with business objectivesPartner with Purchasing to align raw material inventory with the production planMonitor and drive performance against inventory turns and working capital targetsCustomer Delivery & Service (OTD):Confirm order fulfillment commitments based on capacity and material availabilityAdjust customer lead times as needed to reflect current operating conditionsDrive performance toward On-Time Delivery (OTD) targetsPerformance Monitoring & Reporting:Track actual performance against the Master Production PlanIdentify gaps, root causes, and corrective actionsSupport monthly demand review and forecast alignment discussionsProvide timely and accurate reporting of key supply chain metricsCross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Purchasing, Warehouse, Engineering, and Operations to achieve business objectivesLead & support S&OP / Integrated Business Planning processesPresent supply plan scenarios, risks, and recommendations to leadershipSystems & Data Management:Maintain accurate master data in ERP and planning systemsDevelop subject matter expertise (SME-level) in planning toolsDrive continuous improvement in planning processes and data qualityEducation & Certificates:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related fieldAPICS (CPIM/CSCP) or ISM certification preferredExperience Requirements:Minimum 5 years of experience in Master Scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing or assembly environmentExperience with ERP/MRP systems; Advanced Planning Systems preferredSkills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of supply chain planning processes (demand, supply, inventory)Advanced analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage complexity and competing prioritiesEffective communication and stakeholder influence skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational abilityProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)About Nordson Medical:At Nordson MEDICAL, you don't have to be a doctor to help save lives.
