What you'll do:

  Design metal roof layouts for commercial and residential projects as a Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) Specialist.

  n

• n

  Create, revise, and maintain technical drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or MicroStation.

  Convert sketches, concepts, field measurements, and engineering notes into accurate digital drawings.

  n

• n

  Prepare layouts, schematics, assembly drawings, and other technical documentation.

  n
n
• n

  Verify dimensions, materials, and specifications to ensure design accuracy.

• n

  Maintain drawing revisions and document control throughout the project lifecycle.

• n

  Update drawings as project requirements and customer needs evolve.

  n
n
• n

  Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, industry requirements, and applicable regulations.

• n

  Collaborate with engineers, architects, project managers, production teams, and other stakeholders to support successful project execution.

• n

  Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the design process.

• n

  Work primarily in an office environment with occasional local travel as needed.

What you'll bring:

  Associate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experience in Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD), Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related field.

  Experience creating technical drawings using CAD software.

  n
n
• n

  Ability to learn and effectively utilize proprietary CAD software.

  n
n
• n

  Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, architectural plans, blueprints, and technical specifications.

  Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
