Senior Electric Construction EstimatorWe are seeking experienced senior electric construction estimators for the Greenville, SC area!Job Type: Full TimeSalary: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 depending on experience.Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingAncillary BenefitsDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceResponsibilities:Responsible for analyzing bid documents (drawings, specifications, etc.) and existing site conditions to properly outline scope of work, including all general conditions and requirementsResponsible for providing alternate scope of work options based on existing conditions, engineering requirements, availability of materials, and costResponsible for identifying all applicable related national, state, and local code requirementsResponsible for identifying risks in the scope of work and ensure related costs are covered in the bidResponsible for obtaining and reviewing sub-contractor proposals and ensure compliance with bid documentsResponsible for managing RFI and change order requestsResponsible for creating submittal packagesResponsible for coordinating pre-construction requirements of projects with Project Managers to ensure efficiency and profitabilityExisting relationships with material and equipment suppliersOther duties as assignedRequirements:5+ years of experience estimating commercial electrical project work up to $3M5+ years field experience as a journeyman electrician or ForemanProficient with estimating techniques and cost control, plus the ability to interpret computerized cost data and systemsProficient with Conest/SureCount, Accubid/LiveCount, or other estimating softwareProficient with Bid Board or other bid collaboration platformsAbility to communicate both verbally and thorough writing in a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable mannerAbility to prioritize tasks according to deadlines and urgency, and complete them in a timely and professional mannerAbility to comprehend, summarize, edit, and analyze dataAbility to create, navigate, search and update company systems (emails, CRM, reports, quotes, invoices, etc.)Proficient with creating, editing, and analyzing Excel spreadsheets and Word documentsAbout Us:Emory Electric has been in business for more than 40 years and has joined with Ascension Property Services, a nationwide group of specialty trade contractors committed to serving with loyalty, consistency and expertise.
