Special Processes Operator – PlasmaThe Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a Special Processes Operator – Plasma for AWW (Alternate Work Week) shift operations (Friday - Sunday, 6AM to 6:30PM). Training may occur on 1st shift. 1st shift schedule is M-F, 6:30AM to 3PM.

Shift earns 8% shift premium after training period. Overtime opportunity may be available after a period of training.What You Will Do:Read blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications to determine requirements.Prepare parts for plasma coating.Set up and operate grit blaster.Set up and operate plasma equipment.Plasma coat to specifications outlined in work instructions.Inspect parts to verify conformance with specifications.Complete required paperwork.Maintain clean work environmentTechnical aptitude and desire to learn new skills is essential to this role.Ability to read and interpret work instructions.Training is provided on-site.Qualifications You Must Have:HS Diploma or GED Equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experienceQualifications We PreferPrior experience within the aerospace industry.Prior experience with specialized coating application.CNC equipment operation.What We Offer:Medical, dental, vision benefits.Life, short term disability, long term disability benefits.Paid time off including vacation, sick leave, holidays.401-K with company match.Other innovative benefits including deals and discounts.Pratt & Whitney Springdale, AR is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
