Radiology TechnologistThe Radiology Technologist operates x-ray equipment as designated for the Radiology Department. Selects proper exposure factors and demonstrates through knowledge of radiographic positioning. Practices radiological technology in a manner that ensures radiation safety for self and the patient.Performs diagnostic and invasive procedures on Cardiac/Interventional platforms.
Demonstrates competency and proficiency with x-ray equipment in various locations such as Cath Lab/Interventional Labs.Experience necessary for satisfactory performance. Licensed by the State of California in Radiology and Fluoroscopy. Certified by The American Registry of Radiological Technologists preferred.
Current Basis Life Support Level C Certificate. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or ARRT CVI certified preferred. At least three year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, or previous experience or training in a Cardiovascular Lab, required.
Current ACLS and BCLS required (AHA). Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump Certified within 6 months of hire.
