We are seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher to join a structured, center-based learning program supporting elementary students with Autism for the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students in a structured learning environment.
- Develop and implement individualized instruction based on student needs and IEP goals.
- Support students with Autism using effective instructional and behavioral strategies.
- Maintain a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, special education staff, and other school personnel.
- Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with the educational team.
- Caseload: Approximately 8-14 students.
- Classroom Support: Paraprofessionals assigned based on student needs.
- Experience Required: Experience working with students with Autism and strong behavior management skills.
- Program: Structured Learning Services / center-based program.
- Student Population: Kindergarten through 5th grade.
- Experienced and supportive school staff.
- Strong classroom structures and established systems.
