Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience working in elementary classrooms
- Understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities
- Strong communication, patience, and adaptability
- Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom community
- Develop and deliver specialized instruction tailored to students' individual needs
- Design and modify lesson plans to support diverse learning styles
- Track student progress and communicate effectively with parents and team members
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals and related service providers
- Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
- Participate in ongoing professional development
