Special Education Resource Teacher
TactStaff EDU is hiring compassionate and collaborative Special Education Resource Teachers for the school year in the New Haven and Bridgeport areas of Connecticut. Responsibilities
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to support student success
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Maintain compliant IEP documentation and progress monitoring
- Support students academically, socially, and emotionally within inclusive learning environments
- Foster positive classroom culture and student engagement
Qualifications
- Active Connecticut Special Education certification required
- Must hold or be eligible for Connecticut #165 Special Education credential (Initial, Provisional, or Professional)
- Prior school-based or resource room experience preferred
- Strong collaboration, organization, and classroom management skills
- Passion for supporting diverse learners and inclusive educational practices
