Position Summary
ISO Workforce Alliance is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe) for a full-time, school-based assignment in Rocklin, California. This role supports students with individualized learning needs through structured, student-centered instruction aligned with each student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP), in close collaboration with school teams and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate instructional programs aligned to each student's IEP
- Provide a structured, supportive learning environment that respects individual differences and promotes student dignity and success
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and planning meetings and collaborate with families and school teams
- Conduct educational assessments and maintain required documentation and reports
- Coordinate mainstreaming and inclusion opportunities with general education staff
- Work collaboratively with other special education teachers and support personnel, including participation in team teaching models when applicable
- Maintain compliance with California Education Code, Title V, and district policies
- Attend regular team meetings and professional collaboration sessions
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid California Teaching Credential authorizing service in Special Education (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe)
- Experience teaching across multiple grade levels and/or with students with learning disabilities
- Master's Degree and/or postgraduate coursework
- Normal physical strength and endurance for standing, sitting, bending, and walking
- Light physical work in a classroom environment
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds or carry objects up to 15 pounds
