Key Qualifications:

• Current Louisiana Special Education Educator Certificate required
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher in school settings
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt strategies for diverse learning needs

• Collaborates effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff
• Passion for supporting students in achieving their highest potential
• Comfortable with various teaching settings and open to flexibility within caseload assignments

• Provide special education instruction, tailored interventions, and academic support to students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Track and assess student progress, maintaining thorough documentation
• Communicate regularly with parents and school staff to ensure students' needs are met
• Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral development
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development as required
• Foster a positive and encouraging classroom environment for all learners
