Key Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Proven experience with K-5 students, preferably in a resource setting
- Proficient working with EdPlan for Individualized Education Program (IEP) management
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet varied student needs within an inclusive classroom environment
- Previous experience on a school-based multidisciplinary team is highly valued
- Provide direct instruction and support to K-5 students assigned to your caseload
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with a focus on measurable progress and compliance
- Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, specialists, and families to promote student success
- Track and communicate student progress toward IEP goals and objectives
- Participate in IEP meetings, data review, and ongoing professional development
- Foster an inclusive, positive, and encouraging classroom climate
