Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania Special Education certification (preferred or required based on assignment)
• Background in special education classroom teaching
• Proven experience implementing IEP goals and delivering individualized instruction
• Strong classroom management abilities and behavioral support skills
• Demonstrated capacity to collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families
• Flexibility and willingness to travel within a 35-minute commute of assigned locations
• Preferred: Experience in Autism Support, Emotional Support, Multiple Disabilities Support, Behavioral Health, or IU/specialized school environments

Role Responsibilities:

• Serve as an itinerant substitute across various programs and locations, supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, and developmental needs
• Provide high-quality instructional coverage for vacancies, leaves of absence, and long-term assignments
• Rapidly acclimate to changing environments and student groups, ensuring seamless support
• Implement evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies (including ABA-informed approaches, BIPs, and sensory supports as appropriate)
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive atmosphere that facilitates student growth and progress
