Special Education Teacher | Barre, Vermont

Exciting opportunities await passionate Special Education Teachers seeking contract roles for the school year in the scenic Barre, VT area. Three in-person positions are available, working within middle and high school settings to support students in achieving their academic and personal goals. Key Qualifications:

• Current state certification for Special Education (required-applicants must meet all state-specific licensure standards)
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong ability to provide direct services to students with a variety of learning needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to in-person support
• Experience with case management and compliance with special education documentation preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, individualized instructional and behavioral support to students within middle or high school settings
• Collaborate closely with school teams, families, and related service providers
• Manage IEPs, maintain accurate records, and monitor student progress toward goals
• Participate actively in multi-disciplinary meetings and provide input on student development
• Position-specific duties include:
  • Providing case management and direct services at a middle school
  • Teaming with an experienced remote Case Coordinator to deliver in-person services
  • Fulfilling both service and case management functions at the high school level
