$140.00/hr - $175.00/hr
Position: Non-Medical Care Guidance Material Author (Autism Support)
Type: Hourly Contract (Remote)
Compensation: $140–$175/hr
Location: Remote
Duration: 10-40 hours/week, project-based (4–6 weeks)
Requirements
- Strong experience as a social worker, parent coach, caregiver advisor, or autism-focused support professional
- Proven hands‑on experience supporting families with non-medical autism care challenges
- Deep familiarity with sensory regulation, behavioral support, nutrition, toileting, and daily routine management
- Strong knowledge of childcare sourcing, sitter/nanny evaluation, and family support systems
- Experience advising on community rehabilitation services and long‑term housing planning for adults with autism
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, structured guidance materials
- High attention to detail and ability to follow defined documentation standards
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work in an asynchronous, remote setting
Role Responsibilities
- Create structured, expert-level guidance content addressing common non-medical autism care challenges
- Document practical approaches for managing sensory issues, meltdowns, nutrition, and potty training
- Develop guidance on childcare sourcing, sitter/nanny vetting, and family support frameworks
- Author materials on community rehabilitation options and long‑term housing planning for adults with autism
- Provide insights on parent support systems, family dynamics, and couples-support strategies
- Ensure all materials are accurate, clearly written, and aligned with project guidelines
- Collaborate asynchronously with project stakeholders and meet all delivery timelines
