Soliant is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year in Alexandria, Virginia.
Position Details

• Full-Time
• 40 Hours per Week
• School Year
• 1 Position Available
• Onsite Position

Caseload Information

• 1:1 Support Role
• 1st Grade Student
• Student presents with behavioral needs
• Experience supporting students with Autism and ADHD is highly preferred
• Strong administrative support available on-site

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized academic and behavioral support
• Implement IEP goals and behavior intervention strategies
• Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and families
• Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
• Foster a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Special Education Teaching License preferred
• Candidates with RBT or BCBA credentials will also be considered
• Experience working with students with behavioral needs required
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and behavior management skills
