Special Education Self-Contained Classroom Paraprofessional
Fearn Elementary School Full-time – 6.5 hours per day 7:40 a.m.-2:40 p.m. Start Date: 11/17/2025 End Date: 05/22/2026
Requirements:
- ELS – Paraprofessional License/Endorsement
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and/or squat in order to support students with self-help skills and instructional activities
- Ability to work effectively on a classroom team alongside other paraprofessionals, classroom service providers, and the teacher
- Ability to take direction and execute tasks while also taking initiative
- Willingness to support students with self-care and self-help tasks such as bathroom, grooming, and mealtimes
- Ability to provide support to a classroom teacher managing student behaviors and social emotional needs
