Special Education Paraprofessional - 6.5 hours - Pelican Elementary

Job Title

To assist the classroom teacher in the implementation of educational needs for special needs students. One to one behavior supports to implement behavior support plan.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of the students
• Maintain data and record keeping of the IEP
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

AA degree, two years of full-time college or a passing grade on the paraprofessional exam; Ability to organize and communicate effectively; Ability to follow directions and learn new procedures; Ability to provide care for student's physical needs; Ability to project a friendly and supportive attitude; Ability to obtain a CPR and First Aid training certification; Attend NVCPI Training; Ability to learn and follow delegable medical procedures; Proven work ethic; Successful completion of Oregon School based fingerprinting and criminal history verification as deemed by State of Oregon legislation.
