The successful candidate will be a caring and collaborative paraeducator to work within our joyful community of learners. The ideal candidate will: *Assist in the educational and social development of learners under the direction and guidance of the special educator and classroom teachers. *Assist in supporting learners' Individual Education Plans under the direction of the classroom teacher and special educator *Provide support for the individual, small group, and classroom-size groups of learners inside and outside the classroom *Work with other professionals, such as speech therapists, student support, *Assist and partner with classroom teachers to meet the needs of each individual *Use positive supports for learners with emotional or behavioral needs In Addition, the ideal candidate will: *Participate in professional learning opportunities as designated *Perform all duties as assigned *Enjoy and collaborate within a learner-centered team environment.
