Hours: 29 hours per week
Compensation: $17.40
Work Calendar: 180 days (follows the school calendar)
Position Summary:
Greenwood Community School Corporation and Northeast Elementary are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team. This role supports students with diverse learning needs, working under the direction of a certified special education teacher to help provide a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in various educational settings
• Implement instructional activities and accommodations as directed by the teacher
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework or experience in education preferred)
• Ability to work effectively with students and staff
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Flexibility and a positive, student-centered attitude
• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is a plus
