Special Education Paraprofessional Bruneau-Grand View Joint School District #365 Location: TBD (District Assignment) Position Type: Classified / Full-Time (or Part-Time Depending on Assignment) Start Date: School Year Position Summary Bruneau-Grand View Joint School District is seeking a caring and dedicated Special Education Paraprofessional to support students with disabilities in the classroom. The paraprofessional will work under the supervision of a certified teacher to assist students in achieving the goals outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This position may be assigned to one of the district's schools, including Bruneau Elementary School, Grand View Elementary School, or Rimrock Junior Senior High School. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist teachers in implementing instructional activities for students with special needs. Provide individual or small-group support to students as directed by the teacher. Help implement student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Support students with academic tasks, behavior management, and social development. Assist with classroom organization and preparation of instructional materials. Monitor and document student progress as directed. Maintain confidentiality of student records and information. Support a safe and positive learning environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or paraprofessional certification preferred. Ability to work effectively with students with diverse learning needs. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred but not required.
