Classroom Assistant
Position needed: 1.0 FTE Classroom Assistant
Position qualifications:
- Illinois educator license endorsed as a paraprofessional; PLS-Paraprofessional License (formerly statement of approval from Illinois State Board of Education) or have earned 60 college credit hours
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with special needs children
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills that support collaboration with classroom teachers and special education team members
- Respectful of student and school confidentiality requirements
- Honest, trustworthy, reliable, and of good character
Salary: $19.50 per hour. Competitive benefit package.
