Special Cabinet AssemblerFountain Avenue Plant - Bryan, TX 77801Job SummaryResponsible for building special cabinets, components, and accessories.Duties and Responsibilities:Uses table saw, miter saw, dado saw, handguns, hand tools, and other specialized tools and machines to mill parts and assemble components.Must be able to read and interpret layouts and drawings.Use above average math and carpentry skills to cut angles and precise dimensions.Quality inspection of cabinets and components.All other duties as delegated by your supervisor.Qualifications:Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.Must possess reading skills to read parts, lists, and other material required for job completion.Must be able to identify wood and plywood types and sizes of materials.Must have mathematical skills to take measurements and determine correct sizes for cabinet parts.Essential Functions of the Job:Stand and walk up to twelve hours per day on concrete surfaces while loading and stacking cabinets in the factory.Physically carry and transport items long distances up to twelve hours a day.Must be able to lift, carry, and transport items which range in accordance with the requirements listed in the matrices below.Frequently bend, stoop, reach grasps, twist, push, and pull items which range in accordance with the requirements listed in the matrices below for up to twelve hours a day.Must be able to communicate effectively with management and coworkers by phone or in-person.Must be mentally altered and capable of remembering oral instructions and routine tasks.Must be able to withstand fluctuations in temperature and environmental fluctuations.Must be able to work the required daily and weekly work hours as determined by the schedule.Good attendance and punctuality are necessary.Must exemplify through appearance and behavior the company's image of excellence.Must be alert and able to identify and respond to a hazard by either reporting it immediately, or by taking corrective measures if directed.II.
