Description

Florida Housing Finance Corporation is recruiting for a business professional to join our team as a Special Assets Manager . This position will provide consulting and technical services for Florida Housing’s multifamily programs to owners and developers, local governments, state agencies, non-profit groups and the general public related to functions of the Special Assets team. This position will also perform financial analysis and risk assessments.

Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree with a major or minor in Business, Real Estate, Accounting, Finance, or other related fields. Work experience may be substituted.


• Three or more years of experience in the finance or accounting fields, with preference given to applicants with experience in affordable housing and/or financial statement analysis.


• Knowledge of and skill using Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word and Excel.


• The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.


• The ability to prioritize work and plan a work schedule.


• Experience in loan workouts, lending, and/or loan reviews is preferred.


• Experience in writing, reading, understanding and applying legal and regulatory documents to a work process is preferred.

This is an in-person position in the Tallahassee office of Florida Housing Finance Corporation. We do not offer remote work options.

Summary

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Anticipated hiring salary is $57,000 - $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Florida Housing provides a comprehensive benefits package including health, life, dental, vision, short and long-term disability insurance, and other miscellaneous programs.
