The Sp Unit Staff RN - ICU provides professional nursing care as a leader of the health care team, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures.

What You'll Do
- Uphold Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures and applicable laws.
- Serve as a leader of the health care team; delegate tasks appropriately.
- Understand own and team members' scope of practice and elevate issues as appropriate.
- Develop and/or contribute to the individualized plan of care.
- Monitor the patient's progress based on the plan.
- Revise plan on an ongoing basis based on patient condition.
- Ensure effective development and completion of discharge plan.
- Ensure patient safety related to medications and procedures.
- Chart accurately, ensuring documentation reflects nursing process.
- Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
