To support a growing telemedicine practice, the PRN South Dakota Licensed Pharmacist will evaluate prescriber orders, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and educate patients on medication usage while working remotely for a minimum of 10 hours weekly, primarily on weekends. Key responsibilities Evaluate prescriber orders for safety, efficacy, and appropriateness across multiple EMRs Collaborate with physicians to recommend optimal therapy solutions following ASHP standards Provide drug-related information to healthcare providers and educate patients on medication usage and side effects Required qualifications Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required Pharmacist license in South Dakota is required Completion of an ASHP-accredited residency or hospital experience preferred Willingness to obtain additional state licenses within 120 days of hire
