To support the Behavioral Health team, a part-time PRN South Dakota Licensed Nurse Practitioner will provide medical management of patients, collaborating with psychiatrists and staff while working remotely on a flexible schedule that includes a mix of days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Key responsibilities Conduct acute assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of patients presenting to emergency and inpatient behavioral health units Place direct admit orders for patients requiring support for inpatient behavioral health and crisis stabilization Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate services and enhance quality care for patients Required qualifications Active PMHNP license in South Dakota, Minnesota, California, or Texas Graduate of an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program Master's or Doctorate degree in nursing required Federal DEA and/or State DEA licensure required within 9 months of hire Completion of state-specific certification/education within initial and renewal time periods
