Supervising the daily operations of Utilization Review and Medical Review staff, the full-time South Carolina Licensed Medical Review Supervisor will manage staff activities, ensure quality control, and develop departmental procedures while working remotely. Key responsibilities Manage day-to-day activities of assigned staff, identifying training needs and ensuring accurate workflow Supervise staff performance, including approval of time and leave, while providing training and motivation for excellent customer service Perform quality control functions and develop work plans to enhance performance, while preparing and maintaining reports Required qualifications Associate's degree in a job-related field or graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Five years of clinical or utilization review/medical review experience, with three years being clinical One year of leadership experience or equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above Active, unrestricted RN licensure in the state of hire or a compact multistate RN license Working knowledge of managed care and various healthcare delivery systems
