South Carolina Certified Medical Assistant

Supporting a patient-centered approach, the full-time Certified Medical Assistant will assist in patient examinations and treatments, interview patients, measure vital signs, and prepare treatment rooms under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Key responsibilities Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under physician direction Interview patients and accurately record vital signs in their medical records Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited medical assistant program Six months of CMA/RMA experience required Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent from recognized organizations Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care, including lifting and mobility assistance
