South Carolina and North Carolina Licensed Wound Care Physician

To support a growing telemedicine program, a part-time South Carolina and North Carolina Licensed Wound Care Physician will conduct remote consultations, oversee wound assessments, and supervise Nurse Practitioners while ensuring high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities Conduct telemedicine consultations and initial wound assessments to establish diagnosis and care plans Review wound documentation and adjust treatment plans based on healing trajectories Provide clinical oversight to Nurse Practitioners and coordinate referrals for advanced care when necessary Required qualifications Licensed Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with active, unrestricted licenses in South Carolina and North Carolina Clinical experience in wound care management; certification through the American Board of Wound Management (CWSP) or equivalent preferred Experience supervising or collaborating with advanced practice providers Comfort with telehealth platforms and photo-based wound assessment Available between 8 am and 6 pm for patient consultations and provider oversight
