Pisco y Nazca Ceviche Gastrobar is hiring an experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team in Reston, VA!
We are looking for a hands-on culinary leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and is passionate about great food, team development, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do
- Lead daily BOH operations alongside the Executive Chef
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and recipe execution
- Train, coach, and develop kitchen team members
- Oversee prep, line checks, and kitchen readiness
- Support inventory, ordering, and food cost controls
- Manage labor, scheduling, and staffing needs
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization
- Build a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high standards
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of Sous Chef or comparable BOH leadership experience
- Experience in high-volume, full-service restaurants
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of scratch-kitchen operations
- Proven ability to lead and develop kitchen teams
- Understanding of food cost, labor, and inventory management
- Organized, hands-on, and comfortable with administrative responsibilities
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
