About this Role: Sous Chef
Restaurant Manor Rock is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our team! This role is integral to maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency in the kitchen, and has a large impact on the restaurant’s vision and culture. The ideal candidate will be a leader and self-starter with a keen eye for detail, a strong ability to multitask, and a commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain designated area in compliance with the Department of Health’s standards during all aspects of prep and service
- Overseeing quality control of ingredients, procedures, platings
- Supervising kitchen staff and assigning tasks
- Managing inventory and ordering
- Training new cooks
- Leading the kitchen when the executive chef is absent
Commitment is for 4 days per week, with evening and weekend availability required.
