Sourcing Procurement Specialist for Fast Growing Food Beverage Co

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create purchase orders for food ingredients, packaging, labels, manufacturing supplies and any other printed materials

• Confirm proper order/transactional execution, data entry and reporting of assigned products and services

• Review purchase requisitions and convert them to purchase orders with commitment dates.

• Timely review order confirmations from vendors, update correct pricing in the system.

• Monitor and manage the transfer and replenishment of inventory between primary and satellite warehouses

• Follow up on back orders and past due orders and communicate with end users the status of their orders and expected delivery dates.

• Work with internal customers and suppliers to resolve issues related to purchased materials, including product/material/service quality, invoicing and returning.

• Partner with internal customers as well as suppliers to develop and initiate process improvements

• Work with suppliers to improve lead time along with cost, quality, and delivery

• Maintain and update ERP system information

• Sourcing sample and conduct market research for new product

• Conduct negotiation of category items assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/DESIRED SKILLS:

• Business or Technical Bachelor’s Degree preferred

• A minimum of 1-2 years of purchasing or buying experience in a produce/food manufacturing environment.

• Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

• Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, and provide exceptional customer service

• Strong organization and time management skills

• Proficient with Google Suite (g-mail, google sheets, google docs, etc.) and working knowledge of ERP systems

JOB TYPE: Full-time 

SALARY RANGE: $36,000 - $41,0000
