Hybrid Contract Finance

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Contract Length: 12 Months (Potential Extension and Conversion)

Pay Rate: $53/hr - $57/hr

Role Overview

In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on and participate in moderately complex sourcing initiatives and contribute to large-scale planning related to sourcing deliverables. This role involves reviewing and analyzing sourcing challenges, contributing to issue resolution, and collaborating with personnel while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. You will negotiate contracts in support of the CIB, WIM, and Commercial Bank to mitigate risk and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing initiatives across multiple spend categories and execute strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Negotiate and manage commercial agreements, including SaaS, on-premise software, professional services, market data, and broker services agreements.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance, evaluate supplier capabilities, and support governance activities.
  • Identify sourcing and supplier-related risks and ensure activities comply with corporate procurement standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various business lines, including legal, finance, and risk management.
  • Provide sourcing guidance and procurement consultation to support decision-making.
  • Support enterprise sourcing objectives, drive supplier consolidation, and contribute to long-term vendor management strategies.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 4+ years of Sourcing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education. Must have indirect sourcing experience, preferably in financial services or a Fortune 100 company.

Technical Skills: Proven experience negotiating SaaS, on-premise software, professional services, market data, and broker services agreements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting investment banking, wealth management, and/or commercial banking.
  • Specific experience with market data sourcing.
