The posted compensation range of $65.66 - $78.68 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Ultrasound Technologist you will help perform ultrasound procedures at a technically proficient level.
Every day you will position and instruct the patient, operates ultrasound equipment and determines the technical factors for ultrasound procedures.
To be successful in this role, you must ensures correct marking/labeling of images, provide and confirm proper/adequate documentation of procedures to assist in diagnosis. Technically proficient in a variety of ultrasound procedures. Ability to train staff members to perform procedures requiring independent judgement. Position requires ingenuity and initiative for the diagnosis and therapy of disease.
Job Requirements
Required
- Technical School Graduation from an accredited school of Ultrasound and 2-5 years experience performing Ultrasound procedures, upon hire and
- 2 years high-risk/level II OB Ultrasound, including Fetal Echo.
- Experienced with US-guided invasive fetal procedures including amniocentesis and CVS and
- Basic Life Support - CPR (must be from the American Heart Association), within 30 Days and
- Registered Cardiac Elect, upon hire or
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, upon hire or
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, upon hire or
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, upon hire or
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Abdomen, upon hire or
- Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, upon hire or
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire or
- Registered Vascular Specialist, upon hire or
- Registered Vascular Technologist, upon hire
Preferred
- Experience with AIUM certification process
