Location: Fairfax, VA
Pay: $2,822.40 per week
Shifts: Variable 8-hour days with start times between 7 and 9 AM; until 5 PM. One to two weekends a month. No on-call shifts.
Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Sonographer with a specialty in pediatric echocardiography for a travel assignment in Fairfax, VA. This role involves working in a dynamic environment, covering NICU, PICU, and Cardiac ICU. The successful candidate will be experienced with ECMO procedures and various echocardiographic studies, including fetal and adult congenital heart disease.

Key Responsibilities of the Sonographer

• Perform echocardiographic studies across a spectrum of diagnoses, including fetal congenital (22+ weeks) and adult congenital heart disease
• Assist with bedside ECMO weans and catheter placement
• Recognize and triage emergent situations
• Provide written communication to cardiologists
• Maintain equipment and log procedures
• Manage billing of procedures

Requirements of the Sonographer

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric sonography
• BLS and ARDMS certifications required
• Registry in Pediatric Echocardiography preferred
• Fetal Echo encouraged; Adult echo experience a plus
• Profound understanding of congenital and non-congenital heart disease
