Barista Position at Dolly Parton's SongTeller HotelHerschend is seeking an enthusiastic and hospitable Barista to add to our coffee shop team for our newest hospitality venture, Dolly Parton's SongTeller Hotel, located in the heart of Downtown Nashville. The ideal candidate is driven to provide excellent cafe experiences for our guests through proper steps of service and maintain a great work environment for our fellow hosts and vendors at SongTeller Café, the hotel coffee shop.Inspired by Dolly Parton's epic career and trailblazing spirit, SongTeller Hotel in Nashville is as unique as the global icon herself. Dolly welcomes guests to a place where they can Love Every Moment; it is a place to unplug, to connect with loved ones and to be entertained.The Barista position provides a unique opportunity for the right individual to be involved in opening coffee shop efforts for Dolly Parton's SongTeller Hotel featuring 245 rooms, two F&B Entertainment venues, a market, and Dolly Parton's Museum. This position is driven to create meaningful experiences for our hosts, guests, and community while simultaneously ensuring the success and profitability of our unique offerings. The recipe for the right Barista will be equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, mentor and motivator.

So come experience the unique charm, and hospitality that could only be created by the iconic hostess herself!Summary of Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesWelcomes guests promptly with a professional and friendly attitudeDetermines the needs and educates guests by presenting and explaining the coffee/tea drink menuPrepares and sells hot and cold beverages including coffee and espresso drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniquesSells a variety of prepared food items; using proper equipment to heat items when necessaryStocks and presents food/beverage items to standardOrders/requisitions food and supplies through lead/sous chefMaintains a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with all local and federal health codesUses POS accurately.
