Database Solution ArchitectThis team is seeking a skilled Database Solution Architect to facilitate our transition from legacy systems to new data centers. This role involves engaging with application teams to gather detailed requirements, such as IP needs and clustering details, to design database solutions for Oracle, SQL Server, EDD Post, and EDB PostgreSQL platforms. The position requires strong communication and negotiation skills to manage capacity and ensure that database designs meet performance and scalability requirements.
While the actual migration will be handled by the operations team, they will play a crucial role in designing and approving solutions, collaborating with a team of seven, and ensuring all requirements are met. They will be responsible for extracting and analyzing data to prevent capacity exhaustion and support a seamless migration process.
