We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of technology solutions supporting a sophisticated wealth and investment management environment. This role is responsible for translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions across Salesforce, portfolio management, reporting, trading, and operational platforms.
The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce architecture expertise with hands‑on experience supporting wealth management, investment management, RIA, trust, private wealth, or similar financial services organizations . This person should understand advisor workflows, client servicing, investment operations, and the technology ecosystem that supports a modern wealth management business.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Business Systems
- Translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions across Salesforce, portfolio management, trading, reporting, and operational platforms.
- Design end-to-end system architectures and integration strategies utilizing APIs, messaging frameworks, and data pipelines.
- Partner with business stakeholders to improve workflows, drive automation, and identify AI-enabled process improvements.
- Support project planning, prioritization, and solution delivery while maintaining technical documentation and architecture standards.
- Serve as the Salesforce subject matter expert, leading architecture, data modeling, workflows, automation, integrations, and SOQL-based data access.
- Design solutions supporting the full client lifecycle, including onboarding, portfolio management, reporting, billing, and advisor operations.
- Provide expertise across portfolio accounting systems, trading platforms, investment operations technologies, and related enterprise applications.
- Ensure solutions align with data governance, privacy, scalability, and long‑term maintainability requirements.
Delivery & Continuous Improvement
- Guide implementation teams through architecture decisions and technical design.
- Validate solutions against business and technical requirements and support defect resolution.
- Drive platform optimization initiatives by reducing technical debt, improving system performance, and enhancing user experience.
- Ensure delivered solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Systems Architecture, Enterprise Applications, or related technology roles.
- Strong hands‑on Salesforce expertise, including architecture, data modeling, workflows, automation, integrations, and SOQL.
- Experience supporting wealth management, investment management, RIA, trust services, private wealth, family office, or similar financial services environments.
- Experience designing integrations between enterprise SaaS platforms and internal data systems.
- Strong understanding of business process design, operational workflows, and systems thinking.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience creating architecture documentation, process flows, and solution design artifacts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of wealth management operating models, advisor workflows, client onboarding, portfolio management, trading, reporting, billing, and investment operations.
- Experience with portfolio accounting platforms, trading systems, performance reporting tools, and investment operations technologies.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, enterprise data architecture, reporting tools, and analytics platforms.
- Experience applying AI-enabled solutions within business operations while adhering to data privacy and governance standards.
- Experience working in high‑growth organizations that value accountability, ownership, and agility.
