Solutions Architect

Job Description

• Design end-to-end technical solutions for complex federal initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure architectures.
• Lead architecture discussions across cloud, AI/ML, DevSecOps, data, and modernization efforts.
• Partner with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Development teams.
• Advise government executives on technology strategy and roadmap decisions.
• Evaluate architecture performance, security, and cost optimization opportunities.
• Support capture efforts, solutioning, and business development activities.
• Guide application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.

Skills and Requirements

10+ years of software development, DevSecOps, architecture, or cloud engineering experience

3+ years designing and deploying enterprise AWS applications

Strong AWS architecture expertise

Experience with AI/ML-enabled solutions

Experience with Databricks

Strong understanding of:

• Microservices
• Event-driven architectures
• Distributed systems
• Enterprise integration patterns

Application modernization experience

Kafka or comparable message broker experience

Elastic Stack and/or Amazon OpenSearch experience

Experience leading technical teams and architecture strategy

Ability to obtain DHS Suitability N/A
