Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced and motivated technical manager to coach, grow, and partner with skilled Startup Solutions Architects. Working closely with sales teams, you will drive growth across a broad set of startup customers, shaping their customer‑facing and technical skills while ensuring their successful adoption of AWS.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure our Startup Solutions Architecture team delivers customer success in building and migrating infrastructure, software, and services onto AWS using best practices and modern architectures.
- Capture and share best‑practice knowledge within the AWS Solutions Architect community, particularly for early‑stage startups.
- Partner with sales and business development teams to formulate and execute strategies for successful customer outcomes worldwide.
- Hire, onboard, train, and develop new Solutions Architects.
- Coach Solutions Architects to conduct one‑to‑few and one‑to‑many training sessions, enabling them to transfer deep technical skills to customers.
- Create high‑value customer‑facing content such as whitepapers, data sheets, solutions, and quickstarts.
- Act as liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.
- Engage broadly with Amazon leadership to communicate vision and drive cross‑organizational collaboration.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise IT application experience, including at least 2 years of hands‑on software development or DevOps engineering.
- 2+ years of architecting or operating solutions built on a cloud service provider such as Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI.
- 5+ years of developing and evangelizing technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing.
- Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer‑facing roles.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.

The base salary range for this position is 169,000.00 – 228,600.00 USD annually.
