The solutions architect proactively and holistically leads and supports domain-level activities that guide developing and managing a portfolio of solutions. Solutions include projects, systems (including applications, technologies, processes, and information), and shared infrastructure and application services. Trusted and respected as a thought leader who can influence and persuade business and IT leaders and IT development teams. Technology-neutral, motivated, and driven by achieving long-term business outcomes. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead cross-functional teams. Understands business goals, objectives and outcomes, business capabilities, value streams, and business processes and their importance in solution architecture. The solutions architect provides the necessary leadership, analysis, and design tasks related to supporting the development of technology solutions to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 12+ years of IT experience, including solution architecture and enterprise technology leadership
- 2+ years of cloud-based data, analytics, AI/ML, or enterprise reporting implementations
- Deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric architecture, implementation, and optimization
- Experience developing enterprise architecture roadmaps, blueprints, and solution strategies
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Experience presenting and influencing executive and technical stakeholders
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and guiding architectural decision-making
- Strong understanding of modern data platforms, analytics, and AI technologies
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, or other Azure data services
- Healthcare industry experience
- Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Experience supporting Epic data and analytics environments, including Clarity, Caboodle, or Cogito
