Hybrid Full Time Software Architecture & Engineering

The Solution Engineer (SE) is the primary contact to produce technical solutions in line with customers’ requirements, working closely with the Account Manager (AM) in a supporting presales role.

As a Solution Engineer at Arelion, you will be critical to our success by being a creative solutions-oriented consultant and an “influencer” at key touchpoints in the Sales Life Cycle and you will have the opportunity to help define what excellence and process creation mean in this role.

Proven experience working with companies of all sizes from small business up to the largest enterprises and employees at all levels of the organization.
Excellent presentation, communication, time management and listening skills with proven ability to motivate and train.
Proven experience with technical business documentation like workflow diagrams, proposals, SOWs, RFPs and RFIs etc.…

A proven track record demonstrating good business judgment, and an ability to make decisions, good problem solving and solution design skills.
Excellent communication skills, verbal, and writing.
Understanding of business and operations.
Good team player with strong interpersonal skills to maintain a positive working atmosphere and establish collaborative relationships with various levels of management required.
Flexible, open to change.

EXPERIENCE : At least 5 years’ experience al work experience.
EDUCATION : Master's degree or equivalent.
LANGUAGE : Fluency in spoken and written English.
IT/TECHNOLOGY : Strong experience in the Arelion portfolio .

Solution implementation.
Strategize with the AM to drive sales of solution offerings.
Experience navigating and working with IT & Network Organizations
Work cross-functionally across Product Development, Engineering, Services and Delivery teams.
Input to Product, Process and Network improvements
In formal RFP/RFI/RFQ bidding environments, act as point person for all technical portions of the bid package, analyze specifications, drawings, and other
documents to prepare time, costs, materials, and labor estimates including bid and design-build projects.
A broader role sharing best practice, experience, and knowledge with the rest of the organization and thus contributing to improvements across the company.

COMMUNICATION

Actively participate in customer discussions to identify the customer’s requirements.
Play the role of technical expert and collaborative problem solver with prospects and customers.
Provide support materials for customer discussions and furnish technical benefits to AM for positioning with the customer.
Relay feedback and help shape Arelion product roadmap based on what is heard out on the field.

INNOVATION

Lead discovery and research into prospective customer use cases, data networks and architectures and integrations.
Work with the Product Manager and other Networks personnel to provide an optimized, sustainable solution following the Ways of Working developed by the Solution Engineering group.
Work with Network and Product Management where new services are required, to present the case and relevant support documentation.
