Solution Designer (SCADA) in Bellevue WA

PLEASE NOTE: Have to be willing to travel to customer's site not 100% remote needs to be flexible to travel as needed based on business requirements.
Duration: 6 months
We are seeking an experienced SCADA Designer with approximately 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and supporting SCADA systems for industrial automation projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing HMI/SCADA graphics, integrating PLCs and field devices, and supporting system testing and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop SCADA/HMI screens, alarm systems, and trends based on project specifications
- Configure and integrate SCADA systems with PLCs, RTUs, and IEDs
- Develop control system architecture, I/O lists, tag databases, and communication layouts
- Implement alarm management in accordance with industry standards (ISA-18.2 / EEMUA where applicable)
- Perform FAT, SAT, and commissioning support
- Troubleshoot SCADA system issues and provide technical support
- Maintain and update SCADA documentation, including control narratives, tag lists, and user manuals
- Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, and automation teams
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and safety standards
