Solution Architect – ServiceNow IRM (GRC/Risk & Compliance)Location: Chicago, ILRole ResponsibilitiesThis role is a combination of Solution Architecture and Senior Engineering. The person will:Design solutions within the ServiceNow IRM platform.Translate business requirements into technical architecture.Recommend out-of-the-box ServiceNow capabilities before pursuing customization.Participate in technical delivery when needed.Provide architectural guidance while remaining hands-on enough to support engineering efforts.Collaborate with global engineering teams.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline and at least ten years' experience in systems architecture and development methodologies, or an equivalent combination of education and work experiences.• At least 10 years of experience developing reusable services in an enterprise environment.• Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design.• Strong experience with building data pipelines & data processing architectures using Azure Cloud & NoSQL technologies• In-depth understanding of coding languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc).• Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases.• Efficient communication skills.• Strong organizational and leadership skills.Nice to Haves:Experience building data warehouse architectureTech experience with Snowflake or Redshift
