Solution Architect - Remote

Solution ArchitectGenesis10 is currently seeking a Solution Architect for a remote contract position with a Major Utility Company. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This role will join the client's team as a full-time Solution Architect with Esri Utility Network experience. The successful candidate will develop roadmaps for utility clients, design Enterprise Architectures, and serve as a top-level technical expert.

This position may involve business travel up to 50% depending on client and project requirements.Responsibilities:Provide overall technical leadership for a systems implementation and integration projectManage all technical deliverables for the program, including architectural specifications, use-case development, requirements gathering, specification, and validationProvide technical direction for software development teams and quality assurance personnelCreate and maintain programmatic and technical documentation to ensure efficient planning and executionManage and document system configurations and relevant architectural viewsEnsure deliverables are thoroughly tested and meet customer expectationsServe as a mentor to senior and entry-level engineersRequirements:Bachelor's degree in GIS, Information Technology, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline8-14 years of work experience in support of related utility consulting or large-scale process/technology projectsEsri Utility Network experience is requiredAbility to manage architectural specifications, use-case development, requirements gathering, specification and validationExperience with Asset and Work Management Systems, ArcGIS – Geometric Network Management/ ArcGIS – Pipeline Referencing, and Integrity Management Software (DIMP or TIMP)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to provide technical direction for software development teams and quality assuranceAbility to maintain programmatic and technical documentationProficient in Microsoft Office ProductsUnderstanding of general utility business processesElectric or gas distribution industry experiencePay range: $95.00 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
