Job Title: Solution Architect [Insurance Domain Experience (Policy, Claims, Billing)]

Location: USA or Canada (Remote + Some Travel if Required)
Duration: 6-12+ Months
Rate: $Market/Hour

Eligibility: Open to US Citizens, Green Card Holders, Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents (No C2C / No Third Parties)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the architecture and integration of existing enterprise applications with a specialized insurance technology platform/tool. The ideal candidate will have strong experience understanding existing application ecosystems, defining integration strategies, designing APIs and batch interfaces, and integrating new platform capabilities into established applications.

The candidate should be comfortable working across application, integration, cloud, and data layers and translating business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

Insurance domain experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with strong enterprise integration and application architecture experience who can quickly learn insurance-specific processes and platforms are encouraged to apply.

Required Qualifications:
• 7 15 years of experience in software architecture, solution architecture, application integration, or enterprise application development.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and integration patterns.
• Proven experience analyzing and working with existing/legacy application technology stacks.
• Experience creating architecture and technical design documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a distributed/remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with insurance applications, insurance platforms, policy administration, claims, billing, underwriting, or related insurance processes.
• Experience integrating third-party or industry-specific insurance platforms with enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of insurance-specific data models, workflows, and integration requirements.
• Experience with Python/ETL/data integration technologies.
• Exposure to microservices and modernization of legacy applications.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, logging, and application observability.

What We Are Looking For:
• The successful candidate will be someone who can understand an existing application ecosystem, determine how a new insurance platform should fit into that ecosystem, and define the end-to-end integration architecture.
• We are particularly interested in candidates who can bridge the gap between business requirements, existing applications, insurance technology
• Deep insurance-domain expertise is not required. Strong solution architecture and integration experience, combined with the ability to learn insurance-specific functionality quickly, will be highly valued.

Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
