We are seeking a Solution Architect with strong expertise in Windchill PLM to design, configure, and support scalable product lifecycle management solutions.
This role involves translating business requirements into technical solutions, overseeing system performance, and supporting cross‑functional teams.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Windchill architecture, integrations, and data modeling.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into scalable Windchill PLM configurations and customizations
- Configure and manage Windchill modules such as PDMLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink, Change Management, Parts, and Documents
- Design and implement solution architectures aligned with business needs
- Troubleshoot system performance issues, workflow failures, and integration challenges
- Provide hands‑on support to engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams using Windchill
- Support data modeling and system design activities within the PLM environment
- Manage and support integrations with external systems such as SAP and MCAD tools
- Ensure stability, scalability, and performance of Windchill solutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in Windchill PLM application design, development, and support
- Strong experience with PTC Windchill PDMLink, Options & Variants, Workflow, OIR, and InfoEngine customization and configuration
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Windchill solution design and data modeling
- Experience with Windchill ESI, InfoEngine integration, and middleware technologies such as TIBCO
- Experience integrating Windchill with MCAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) and enterprise systems such as SAP
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
