Solid Waste Equipment OperatorGilchrist County Solid Waste & Recycling is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.RequirementsAbility to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in all weather conditionsGood customer service skillsHeavy lifting(Preferred) Florida Class B CDL license (copy must be submitted with application)ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy equipment to support County operationsTransport waste and serve as an attendant at recycling sitesPerform additional duties as needed to meet department requirementsCompensation & BenefitsHourly rate: $16–$17, based on experienceFull-time position with retirement benefitsAdditional Information:Please submit a copy of your driver's license with your application.Do not contact Solid Waste regarding application status.Direct deposit is required.Thank you for your interest in employment with Gilchrist County.
